ACCIDENT PROTECTION

Why does Club Glove offer accident protection?
We have a Limited Lifetime Warranty, so why offer this protection? To protect you from unanticipated damage that may be caused by others handling your Club Glove gear or for other unexpected events, like an airline refueler accidently dumping jet fuel on your Club Glove luggage. (Yes, we have seen that before!) The Limited Lifetime Warranty only covers manufacturer’s defects. (Not Jet A spills)

What does it cover?
Pretty much anything that would render your gear non-functional or unusable. The Standard Limited Lifetime warranty only covers defects in manufacturing, whereas the accident protection covers any unintentional or accidental damage. Accidents that cause tears, rips, holes, broken zippers, popped rivets, plastic hardware failures, wheels, axels and bearings are all covered. Theft/ loss, intentional abuse, intentional misuse, normal wear & tear, and cosmetic damage is not covered.

Coverage time period?
Your accident protection plan begins as soon as you purchase your Club Glove gear and lasts for the term of the protection you selected.

Who should get this coverage?
Anyone who travels frequently or just wants peace of mind. 

How do I file a claim?
Simply contact us Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM PT at 714-843-9288 to speak with a live Customer Service Representative during business hours. You will be provided a RA (Repair Authorization) number. Your damaged product must be shipped to us by FedEx or UPS, with signature required. We will cover all other costs including return shipping (standard ground) of the repaired or replacement product.

At our sole discretion, we will repair your product OR replace your product with a new or refurbished unit of like or similar quality. The replacement product may be of a newer version of your original product. A product that is replaced with a brand-new replacement product will have the option of the purchase of a new Accident Protection Plan (if a plan is being offered at that time). A product that is repaired will not have the option of the purchase of a new plan and the originally purchased plan shall expire at its normal term ending. 

Want to return the product that Accident Protection was purchased for?
New, unused, non-embroidered returned product for refund: the money you paid for the protection plan will also be refunded. This plan can only be refunded (within 90 days of original purchase date) following a “Return Authorization” and the return of the protected product in brand new, re-sellable condition.

 

The limit of liability under this plan is the cost of authorized repairs, or replacement as determined by Club Glove, with a product of like quality and similar features, provided however, in no event will our total liability for repairs or replacement exceed your purchase price for the covered product, excluding sales tax and shipping. Upon replacement, there is no longer any obligation for the replaced product under this plan.

Plan Coverage: The United States of America not including any U.S. Territories including Guam, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands. It does not include Canada or Mexico





Limited Lifetime Warranty

West Coast Trends, Inc. (“WCT”) guarantees this product will be free from defects IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP DURING NORMAL TRAVEL USE for the product’s specified LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY period. If such a defect appears during the warranty period, WCT will repair or replace (at its option) the product without charge, except for transportation costs to the repair center. WCT will pay for return ground shipping anywhere in the continental United States. Return shipping via air freight is available for an additional charge. If the product is no longer available, we reserve the right to substitute a comparable product. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, normal fading, alteration, abuse, misuse or neglect of the product, accidents, negligence, damage by airline or common carrier, or dissatisfaction with product choice. To obtain warranty service, please call WCT (our toll free number is on every Club Glove® product) for a return authorization number and address to ship product, freight prepaid, with a carrier requiring signature. West Coast Trends, Inc. hereby disclaims all liability for any harm or damage that may occur for any reason whatsoever to any customer’s personal property that may be contained or carried in products manufactured or sold by West Coast Trends, Inc. All such liability is solely that of the customer.

OUR WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  IN NO EVENT SHALL WEST COAST TRENDS, INC. BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE OR LOSS OF USE. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties and/or incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights that vary from state to state.
