Weekend Bag  

My travel bag is perfect for weekend travel. There is plenty of room for serval changes of clothing. You can also put a pair of shoes in with the clothes. The zipper is great and very easy to open and close. The craftsmanship and attention to the details is very apparent with this bag.

Great Travel Luggage   

Just completed our first trip using our new club glove TRS Ballistic Check-in XL luggage. I bought 2 of these for my wife and myself. The space within this bag is fantastic, each one held 4 weeks of travel garments including shoes. The bags are easy to roll and very resistant to the baggage handling in todays jet trips. These bags showed no wear issues from our 8 different flights taken on this past trip. I wish I had known about this company when I was traveling for business for the past 42 years.

Amazing Bag  

I bought 2 of these for a long trip by small plane. We traveled with these bags all the way around the world - 26 countries in 70 days. We lived out of the bags for more than 2 months and found them highly durable and convenient. Hands Down The Best  

I bought the TRS Carry-On in Feb, 2015. It is without equal. I travel a good bit for business & pleasure (60-80 days / year) and I never travel without this bag. Mostly carry-on, but sometimes checking it. It has been all over the USA, in several other countries, (daughter lives in Guatemala) myriad airports and all kinds of weather and still the handle is perfect and the wheels, with many miles of rolling, are as good as the day I bought it. No clickity-clack down the terminal. Just smooth and quiet. I give the wheels a squirt of WD40 once in a while and that is it. I have done two 10-day trips to China with just my TRS Carry-on and my computer bag. The internal compression flap is the key. The only issue I have ever had is my own fault. My computer bag can be quite heavy. In 2017 I slide it over the handle (more like dropped it) and one of the rivets holding the ballistic nylon to the rigid plastic backing gave out. I fixed it myself permanently with a stainless steel bolt, 2 fender washers, and a lock-nut. Done! I have a system of going through TSA with this bag and my computer bag that slides over the handle. I never completely disconnect them. I simply pick up the entire ensemble (retractable handle in one hand and the front loop handle on the front of the bag in the other) and place it all on the conveyor. I then separate them about 5 inches for a gap so TSA can see them easily, but leave the computer bag still on the handle and pickup the entire ensemble back off the conveyor the same way on the other side. Never - not once, have I been hassled. They appreciate the systematic approach and efficiency of it. Seeing my system, one guy commented "man, that`s slick, but you must really trust that handle." My response "Yes! Yes I do." I am saving up and hope to buy at least 1 more TRS carry-on for the Mrs. and the XL Check bag. They are not cheap, but they are worth the $$. Thanks CG, JRP

Indestructible  

I have used TRS Ballistic luggage on 4 continents, from Bali to Iceland and Morocco to Japan. All the luggage has survived the worst the baggage handlers could throw at them (as well as the serious overstuffing I have inflicted on them) and come through without any rips, tears, broken zippers, handles or anything else. The nylon material as well as the zippers are extremely robust. If you’re travelling with more than one of their bags at the same time, their Train Reaction System makes it easy to connect multiple pieces and wrangle them with greater ease than any other system I have seen. These bags are not inexpensive, but what you get for your money is luggage of the highest quality.

The TRS Ballistic is by far the best travel luggage. The shape, included travel packs, durability and wheels are superior to any other product. I regularly get compliments from airline staff about the quality and shape. Acquired the Carry On recently to replace a trusty-but-battered Briggs & Riley carry-on that had been loved to death. In comparison, the TRS Ballistic Carry On is a smidge smaller in width and length, which was a little disappointing, but it still accommodated all of my things. Quality of construction is top-notch. Rolls smoothly to and through the airport. Aside from an extra inch here or there, I couldn`t ask for more. Highly recommended.

Nice Bag  

I have various CG bags - but have never owned one from the TRS Ballistic line. The Check-In XL is an excellent bag - roomy, easy to maneuver and sturdy. Packing modules really make it easy organize and pack all your belongings. Going to buy a TRS Carry-on to go with it as the Mini Rolling Duffle I use as a carry-on doesnt have the same stiff side walls that this line has. Will make it easier to piggy-back them through the airport. Rating this as 4 stars it is a heavy bag - weighing about 3 lbs more that other bags this size.

Super strong  

I am on the road 70% of the time. I value a well made piece of luggage. I just purchased the TRS Ballistic Check-In. The heavy duty construction is the best I've owned. It has plenty of grab handles and is well reinforced at all the wear points. You can stuff to your hearts content and it barely bulges. I carry my clubs with me most of the time.It works great with the Club Glove golf bag and makes moving through airports a breeze. It is a bit expensive, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for!

I was in need of replacing a cabelas bag…that i used for hunting and fishing trips….I have 2 different club glove golf club travel bags that i have had for 15 plus years.. Very well made luggage. the best materials are used, which make it very durable, built to last, & easy to use. We purchased 2 of the Carry-On pieces about 2 years ago. After using them, we were very impressed with them, & knew that we had to get more for our next flight. We recently bought 2 of the Check-Ins. They are a, must have, for any traveler. We will definitely be getting at least 1 XL Check-In & some of the other pieces to keep up with our needs in the future.

Not too big after all  

I do not take the time to write many reviews, but this one is certainly worth my time to sit down and write. Kudos on the TV commercial too! Starting to see more Club Gloves out there. When we ordered our second Club Glove suitcase, we knew my wife always packs more and needs “more??? space, so I was not paying attention to the dimensions and just ordered the Check-In XL. When we got it, we both initially thought it was too big and did not use it at first. I used the XL three times for military trips this year and we used it to pack one bag for both of us on one trip. The Check-In XL is perfect for longer stays / trips. I have since ordered the Check-In L for my wife and now we have all three. We will NEVER ever need another suitcase. Prior to these, we went through suitcases consistently every year. Our boys have done the same. I have had my Carry-On for 7+ years. These are built to last! My first TRS Ballistic Carry-on was purchased several years ago and it has been through a lot of travel with virtually no wear marks or damage. It also holds a great deal more than other carry-ons I have owned. My wife and I are planning more extensive travel in the future and frankly her carry-on was so poorly designed that it carried only half of what my TRS Ballistic Carry-On holds. Just returned from a quick weekend getaway to surprise my 5 year goddaughter for her Birthday. The Carry-On made it so easy. Packed in 10 minutes, left for the airport, parked and went strait to thru security. It fits perfectly in the overhead storage, wheels are super smooth and everything fit like a “Glove???. The purchase of both pieces were the best choice ever and fortunately my last!! If you want to best, buy Club Glove!!!

Excellent Travel Bag  

The TRS ballistic check-in bag is the most ruggedly built bag I have ever purchased. It has plenty of space to accommodate all my clothing for overseas business trips. The quality is outstanding second to none, I am totally impressed with the bag. It is an expensive bag but when you see the quality you can justify the price tag.

MADE I THE USA  

I was a Hartmann fan for 40-years…because they were made in the USA. Years ago when they went to China, I refused to buy anymore of their stuff. Several months ago, I was looking for a golf club travel bag because my Ping travel bag stopped working (flat tires that couldn’t be repaired), and I bought the Club Glove TRS Ballistic travel bag. Made in the USA. I love this thing so much, I bought the TRS Ballistic Check-In XL suitcase (the big guy). On a recent trip to Phoenix, I connected these 2-large bags (as shown in the instructions), and I was amazed of the ease I navigated the baggage claim area and out to the passenger pick-up area…it was like handling a small 22??? roll-aboard…no kidding. I love this luggage so much I’m ready to buy another smaller suitcase. MADE IN THE USA!!

I bought the Ballistic Carry on with the copper piping for myself, that lasted as long as it took for my daughter to see it and proclaim her love of the piping. While we haven't traveled Commercially since Covid-19 the carry on works perfectly in out Baron. Fabulous product such that my wife and other daughter each want one, Looks like 3 more for me...

Would never use it again   

I travel at least twice a month and use a bag about this size every time. The problem I have with your bag starts with the opening. At first I did not think it would be a problem but after a few days it annoyed me. I found myself opening up the small little hole just to try to get my stuff in and out. I would’ve preferred the opening to be the entire top of the bag. The quality of the bag is incredible And was as good as you advertised. For me it was the functionality of the opening. Yes I get that they attach one to another and that could be a great thing for somebody needing to carry multiple bags. When I got the accessories so I could put in some of my dress shirts in it, it was hard to stuff that in the small opening and I kept thinking to myself “am I doing this right.” I find myself now with a six $700 suitcase that I probably will never use again. I have returned to my $300 bag that is definitely less quality but does not annoy me as I access my belongings on my trip. I wish you guys luck in your business I don’t wanna beat you down or tell you your stuff is junk because it’s not. But I would re-design the opening so it opens up like the rest of the suitcases in the world. Enclosing just remember nobody has ever ask themselves “hey I wish this thing would open to the side instead of towards the wall.”

We appreciate your feedback and fully understand the the zipper opening on our Carry-On only exposes about 70% of what the opening could be. Our original Carry-On design actually had the heavy duty YKK (best in the world) zipper completely out to the perimeter (exactly as you describe below) allowing for 100% opening of the case lid. Unfortunately the customers that received these early models found that with frequent use, the YKK zipper teeth were vulnerable to wear damage as they were exposed to anything that would come in contact to the outer edges of the luggage. This was a serious weak link to the longevity of the product. By moving the YKK zipper inward and away from the outer edges of the luggage we completely eliminated the vulnerablity of the YKK Zipper teeth, (product images illustrate the new opening). To this day we have not had a single zipper failure on the new design. We hope you will give your TRS Carry-On another shot as our American Made Ballistic luggage should last you considerably longer (maybe a lifetime) than anything with the traditional suitcase opening.

Quality at its best  

The Ballistic Travel Rx is exceptional. My wife and I were solidly impressed by the quality of the workmanship, including the added embroidery. This is part of the whole set that we purchased. The Ballistic Travel Rx matches the other pieces and the size makes it a perfect match when paired with the other components. The bag comes with a Strap to carry the bag over the shoulder. The strap helps because the bag straps are smaller and not as comfortable to carry for longer periods of time. The Travel Rx seems very well built and will hold up under years of service.

This bag is as advertised! I recently went to Arizona (pre-corona) to play golf and with my older club glove golf bag it worked very well. I didn’t think I would like the bag compartments but they were great. Love this suitcase. My only complaint is the wheels don’t swivel you can only go in one direction. Not sure if that’s an option considering the train system. Love em!

For my recent 3-week vacation, the Rx bag supplemented my Carry-On bag which I LOVE! Having the 2 'small' bags made it easier for packing as well as handling. The construction is excellent, very well made. I gave it a 4 star only as I would have liked there to be a way to attach the handle straps (as I needed to check my bag). I ended up buying on amazon a velco handle which works fine. Otherwise it's a great bag. Plus, I really like the versatility with a separate compartment below, which works great for shoes.

Baggage handlers are not known to be gentle with luggage and they even destroyed my Pelican luggage I have gotten earlier this year. It took them roughly 2 months to make it worthless. I've had these for about two months now and have been on 8 trips, that's 32 different planes in which baggage handlers had to move the bags. The bags look like they are no more than a week old. Small scuffs on plastic backbone and that's it. The ability to have them stand by themselves and move them with little to no force while walking is perfect for me. My tool box weighs 65lbs, the XL gets to 55-65lbs and the Check-In around 45-55lbs. They move with ease. The XL is actually bigger than I need sometimes so now I'm going to have to buy another Check-In for the shorter trips.

When the bag arrived, I was not surprised by the quality of the bag as I have always been a fan of Club Glove, however I was pleasantly surprised on the ease of packing using all the interior bags provided. I travel around the world, typically 14-16 day trips. The Ballistic Check-In XL is more than adequate, and unpacking is a breeze, have made my travel life easier. Great-Great bag!

I purchased my first Club Glove Golf Bag about 7 years ago. After the superior performance of that product I was in need of a carry on and came here. I purchased one. My wife complained about the price but I prefer to spend more on the front side for a solid product that I know will work. I have since bought my wife her own. Again she complained about the price but she has never complained about the luggage. It is top rate, very durable, rolls true, and people are amazed at how much you can hold. I love the packing modules as they help keep everything in order and tidy. I highly recommend this product to anyone that is thinking of purchasing. One and done. XL is LARGE  

This is my second TRS Ballistic bag. I wanted a large bag to haul around samples in; however, the XL is LARGE. Bigger than I wanted for taking on airplanes because the bag weighs 15#s on its own. You will get to over 50#s pretty quick and still have room in the bag. So while that cuts down how we originally planned to use it, we do use it now for anything we drive to attend. Or, when my wife and I take a trip and can now get away with one suitcase - but again, only if we are driving. Great Quality like my first bag. Will last our lifetimes! Just do yourself a favor and look at the dimensions.

I travel extensively for work, and the TRS Ballistic Carry-On is the best luggage I've ever owned. It's extremely durable and I can fit more in it than other carry-on bags. Best Luggage - Hands Down  

We traveled for three weeks in the Philippines. The porters were very disappointed with the Train Reaction System as the ease of travelling with multiple bags obviated the need to use/tip them. The bags are very rugged, yet lightweight. We received multiple compliments at the check in desks as to how nice the luggage is. Simply the best! I recommend the Bronze webbing and embroidery as you will easily spot your bags amongst the hundreds of others at the terminal. American ingenuity and manufacturing at its best!

Amazing luggage for every type of traveler  

I first started using Club Glove luggage when I ordered several golf travel bags for a number of tour professionals I managed. They were absolutely thrilled with the performance and style of these rugged golf travel bags. The additional stabilizing pole makes sure that your clubs arrive in once piece also! I was extremely happy with these bags that I also decided to order a number of pieces of the Ballistic range. Whilst not cheap, you definitely get what you pay for. These cases are designed extremely well and with the best of materials. I love the dividing inside to separate clean and "not so clean" items. The "train system" is superb when you have golf bags and luggage to transport. I hate using trolleys at the airport and these cases are designed to link together for really easy gliding transportation. The shoulder bag is a great overnight travel bag, with a neat little compartment at the bottom for shoes and flip flops. Love these bags and will be adding to my collection soon!

As President of the luxury brand Cowboy Cauldron Company my travel demands are legion. I must be prepared to go from down-in-the-dirt practicality to white tie formality on any given trip. The TRS Ballistic luggage from Club Glove is, hands down, the best I have ever used. Each piece in the line has been carefully thought out. They are capacious, well-built, ergonomic, and practical. The frame is rugged, the bags are very stable when in motion, The zippers function smoothly, there are handles where you want them, and there are lots of external pockets so you can quickly access critical items without having to open the main compartment.

Finest Luggage I Have Ever Owned  

I own a TRS Ballistic Carry-on and Check-in and I've got to say it was well worth the investment. I've traveled to the Caribbean, Europe and domestically and they still look and feel brand new. The material is tough, not something that I fear will rip, tear or crack. Not only are they gorgeous, but my monogram on them really make them unique and custom. What a life saver the connection system was when traveling through Europe- the wheels easily glided of the brick and cobblestone streets and moving my 3 weeks worth of luggage with a single hand really allowed me to travel stress-free! I even had to make a walk in the rain with them and everything inside stayed dry. The quality, the look, the feel and the convenience really sold me. Not to mention the packing organizers that come with them... they make organizing so much easier (dry vs. wet, dirty vs. clean, shoes vs. clothing, husband's belongings vs. mine). Overall, this luggage has already traveled MANY miles and has stood the test.

This is my second review. I just returned from 9 days to multiple cities in Italy. The Ballistic Carry Bag was most helpful. Very rugged and was essential in my travels. I addition to my previous comments, I would recommend a padded device that would hold the 2 handles together and would not be so tough on ones hands.

I Cannot Imagine Traveling Without My Club Glove Bags  

I have been using this TRS Ballistic Carry-On bag and the ‘Last Bag’ golf travel bag for several years now, and am the envy of all my traveling golf buddies. Two of them have now purchased their own Last-Bag, and several others have added it to their gift wish-list. When I walk through the airport I notice other golfers looking enviously at the effortless way the bag trains behind my carryon. Tough and Handsome  

Recently purchased a TRS Ballistic Check-In and have already put it through 2 international trips, train rides, domestic flights and multiple connections and the bag performed flawlessly. Easy access, built tough, and rolls smoothly even with my 12 year old XL Last Bag attached! The included packing cubes make organizing very easy. Don't anticipate having the need to buy another piece of luggage for a long time. But I am considering the Check-In XL for longer trips. Best luggage I've ever had. After several years using a clubglove golf travel bag, I decided to try one of their ballistic carry on's and I've been delighted with it. So much so that for a recent trip I also purchased a larger piece. Both bags are strong and tough but also good looking and easy to use and travel with. I recommend them to anyone who asks!

Excellent luggage! It is easy to pack with a large top zip opening and comes with packing cubes. Although it is soft sided on 3 sides, it is incredibly durable and keeps items (even packed glass) safe and unbroken. Easy to wheel and the train system makes it easy to wheel more than one piece at a time. It is not inexpensive, but it is well worth the cost!

Only used on two trips so far but has been awesome. One was a golf trip and even though I didn't have the "connector" for the club glove the top "tightening strap" of the club bag fit perfect around the handle of the "TRS check in". Rolled perfect. Had more room than I needed for a 5 day trip. Will likely buy a smaller version for weekend trips.

I really love the carry on, it rolls so well and is so balanced especially with my back pack on it. It just barely fits in most overhead compartments. The X large suitcase handles well too and bolus a lot but weighs more than other suitcases so it takes from the 50 lb limit. It is also a little too tall for me to lift going up or downstairs especially since the fabric allows the handle to lift up so much. (I'm 5'2"). Overall I love both pieces.

I travel a lot, so a solid reliable carry one bag which is accepted by all airlines was a huge requirement for a new carry-on. The Ballistic bag is now a year old and still looks brand new, even though it's literally been around the world! It packs more than it looks like it will, so don't be deceived by the size. I purchased 2 pieces for a 14 day trip to Italy for me and my companion. One carry on and the next larger size. She took the larger piece and all I needed was the carry-on. We traveled by plane, train and car throughout the country. Being able to attach the 2 pieces made the travel so easy. When attached, it was almost as if the luggage propelled itself! For the last 18 years I've travelled extensively as a golf TV broadcaster. Prior to that I was a touring professional. I've logged over 2 million miles traveling the world with A LOT of gear. I've tried just about every brand of luggage and I'm telling you the latest Club Glove TRS Ballistic line is the best I have ever seen. It's stylish and extremely durable. Honestly, it's the last luggage you will ever need. Club Glove is rightfully known for its line of golf travel covers. (Another lifetime piece, and I've never had my clubs or golf bag damaged in Club Glove). The same design and construction quality goes in to the luggage line as the club cover products. In fact, I'd say the TRS Ballistic is a step up in quality from the club covers. And that doesn't seem possible. I realize these pieces are an investment. But they are well worth the money.
