Amazing Bag  

I bought 2 of these for a long trip by small plane. We traveled with these bags all the way around the world - 26 countries in 70 days. We lived out of the bags for more than 2 months and found them highly durable and convenient. We had to lift them in and out of a small plane several times a week and found the handle locations and strength made that quite easy. Highly recommend these excellent bags!

Hands Down The Best  

I bought the TRS Carry-On in Feb, 2015. It is without equal. I travel a good bit for business & pleasure (60-80 days / year) and I never travel without this bag. Mostly carry-on, but sometimes checking it. It has been all over the USA, in several other countries, (daughter lives in Guatemala) myriad airports and all kinds of weather and still the handle is perfect and the wheels, with many miles of rolling, are as good as the day I bought it. No clickity-clack down the terminal. Just smooth and quiet. I give the wheels a squirt of WD40 once in a while and that is it. I have done two 10-day trips to China with just my TRS Carry-on and my computer bag. The internal compression flap is the key. The only issue I have ever had is my own fault. My computer bag can be quite heavy. In 2017 I slide it over the handle (more like dropped it) and one of the rivets holding the ballistic nylon to the rigid plastic backing gave out. I fixed it myself permanently with a stainless steel bolt, 2 fender washers, and a lock-nut. Done! I have a system of going through TSA with this bag and my computer bag that slides over the handle. I never completely disconnect them. I simply pick up the entire ensemble (retractable handle in one hand and the front loop handle on the front of the bag in the other) and place it all on the conveyor. I then separate them about 5 inches for a gap so TSA can see them easily, but leave the computer bag still on the handle and pickup the entire ensemble back off the conveyor the same way on the other side. Never - not once, have I been hassled. They appreciate the systematic approach and efficiency of it. Seeing my system, one guy commented "man, that`s slick, but you must really trust that handle." My response "Yes! Yes I do." I am saving up and hope to buy at least 1 more TRS carry-on for the Mrs. and the XL Check bag. They are not cheap, but they are worth the $$. Thanks CG, JRP

Indestructible  

I have used TRS Ballistic luggage on 4 continents, from Bali to Iceland and Morocco to Japan. All the luggage has survived the worst the baggage handlers could throw at them (as well as the serious overstuffing I have inflicted on them) and come through without any rips, tears, broken zippers, handles or anything else. The nylon material as well as the zippers are extremely robust. If you’re travelling with more than one of their bags at the same time, their Train Reaction System makes it easy to connect multiple pieces and wrangle them with greater ease than any other system I have seen. These bags are not inexpensive, but what you get for your money is luggage of the highest quality.

Acquired the Carry On recently to replace a trusty-but-battered Briggs & Riley carry-on that had been loved to death. In comparison, the TRS Ballistic Carry On is a smidge smaller in width and length, which was a little disappointing, but it still accommodated all of my things. Quality of construction is top-notch. I am on the road 70% of the time. I value a well made piece of luggage. I just purchased the TRS Ballistic Check-In. The heavy duty construction is the best I've owned. It has plenty of grab handles and is well reinforced at all the wear points. You can stuff to your hearts content and it barely bulges. I carry my clubs with me most of the time.It works great with the Club Glove golf bag and makes moving through airports a breeze. It is a bit expensive, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for!

Very well made luggage. the best materials are used, which make it very durable, built to last, & easy to use. We purchased 2 of the Carry-On pieces about 2 years ago. My first TRS Ballistic Carry-on was purchased several years ago and it has been through a lot of travel with virtually no wear marks or damage. Best ever  

Just returned from a quick weekend getaway to surprise my 5 year goddaughter for her Birthday. The Carry-On made it so easy. Packed in 10 minutes, left for the airport, parked and went strait to thru security. It fits perfectly in the overhead storage, wheels are super smooth and everything fit like a “Glove???. I bought the Ballistic Carry on with the copper piping for myself, that lasted as long as it took for my daughter to see it and proclaim her love of the piping. Would never use it again   

I travel at least twice a month and use a bag about this size every time. The problem I have with your bag starts with the opening. At first I did not think it would be a problem but after a few days it annoyed me. I found myself opening up the small little hole just to try to get my stuff in and out. I would’ve preferred the opening to be the entire top of the bag. The quality of the bag is incredible And was as good as you advertised. For me it was the functionality of the opening. Yes I get that they attach one to another and that could be a great thing for somebody needing to carry multiple bags. When I got the accessories so I could put in some of my dress shirts in it, it was hard to stuff that in the small opening and I kept thinking to myself “am I doing this right.” I find myself now with a six $700 suitcase that I probably will never use again. I have returned to my $300 bag that is definitely less quality but does not annoy me as I access my belongings on my trip. I wish you guys luck in your business I don’t wanna beat you down or tell you your stuff is junk because it’s not. But I would re-design the opening so it opens up like the rest of the suitcases in the world. Enclosing just remember nobody has ever ask themselves “hey I wish this thing would open to the side instead of towards the wall.”

We appreciate your feedback and fully understand the the zipper opening on our Carry-On only exposes about 70% of what the opening could be. Our original Carry-On design actually had the heavy duty YKK (best in the world) zipper completely out to the perimeter (exactly as you describe below) allowing for 100% opening of the case lid. Unfortunately the customers that received these early models found that with frequent use, the YKK zipper teeth were vulnerable to wear damage as they were exposed to anything that would come in contact to the outer edges of the luggage. This was a serious weak link to the longevity of the product. By moving the YKK zipper inward and away from the outer edges of the luggage we completely eliminated the vulnerablity of the YKK Zipper teeth, (product images illustrate the new opening). To this day we have not had a single zipper failure on the new design. We hope you will give your TRS Carry-On another shot as our American Made Ballistic luggage should last you considerably longer (maybe a lifetime) than anything with the traditional suitcase opening.

Excellent Durability  

I have both the Check-In and the Check-In XL. I fly roughly 150,000 mile per year with 160-180 segments. So the bags are handled several times from home to destination and back. Baggage handlers are not known to be gentle with luggage and they even destroyed my Pelican luggage I have gotten earlier this year. It took them roughly 2 months to make it worthless. I've had these for about two months now and have been on 8 trips, that's 32 different planes in which baggage handlers had to move the bags. The bags look like they are no more than a week old. Small scuffs on plastic backbone and that's it. The ability to have them stand by themselves and move them with little to no force while walking is perfect for me. My tool box weighs 65lbs, the XL gets to 55-65lbs and the Check-In around 45-55lbs. They move with ease. The XL is actually bigger than I need sometimes so now I'm going to have to buy another Check-In for the shorter trips.

I purchased my first Club Glove Golf Bag about 7 years ago. After the superior performance of that product I was in need of a carry on and came here. I purchased one. My wife complained about the price but I prefer to spend more on the front side for a solid product that I know will work. I have since bought my wife her own. Finest Luggage I Have Ever Owned  

I own a TRS Ballistic Carry-on and Check-in and I've got to say it was well worth the investment. I've traveled to the Caribbean, Europe and domestically and they still look and feel brand new. The material is tough, not something that I fear will rip, tear or crack. Not only are they gorgeous, but my monogram on them really make them unique and custom. What a life saver the connection system was when traveling through Europe- the wheels easily glided of the brick and cobblestone streets and moving my 3 weeks worth of luggage with a single hand really allowed me to travel stress-free! I even had to make a walk in the rain with them and everything inside stayed dry. The quality, the look, the feel and the convenience really sold me. When I walk through the airport I notice other golfers looking enviously at the effortless way the bag trains behind my carryon. I usually get approving questions about the bags by other golfers who are struggling with their luggage. On my most recent business trip my treasured Carry-On bag was stolen from my car. While I lost most of my favorite travel clothes and gear, by far the worst part was losing the bag. Best Luggage  

Best luggage I've ever had. After several years using a clubglove golf travel bag, I decided to try one of their ballistic carry on's and I've been delighted with it. So much so that for a recent trip I also purchased a larger piece. Both bags are strong and tough but also good looking and easy to use and travel with. I recommend them to anyone who asks!

Excellent luggage! It is easy to pack with a large top zip opening and comes with packing cubes. Although it is soft sided on 3 sides, it is incredibly durable and keeps items (even packed glass) safe and unbroken. Easy to wheel and the train system makes it easy to wheel more than one piece at a time. It is not inexpensive, but it is well worth the cost!

Only used on two trips so far but has been awesome. One was a golf trip and even though I didn't have the "connector" for the club glove the top "tightening strap" of the club bag fit perfect around the handle of the "TRS check in". Rolled perfect. Had more room than I needed for a 5 day trip. Will likely buy a smaller version for weekend trips.

Love these suitcases! Started with carry-ons for all 3 members of my family. Then moved to suitcases because we loved how much room and durability there was in the carry-ons. They are the right size when a carry-on is not enough. And the fact that you can stack them is wonderful! We highly recommend the ballistic check-ins.

I travel a lot, so a solid reliable carry one bag which is accepted by all airlines was a huge requirement for a new carry-on. The Ballistic bag is now a year old and still looks brand new, even though it's literally been around the world! It packs more than it looks like it will, so don't be deceived by the size. Love the separator inside the bag and the side pockets. Will buy the briefcase product next as that will fit nicely over the carry-on handle... Great purchase

Excellent quality, looks great, fast shipping

I purchased 2 pieces for a 14 day trip to Italy for me and my companion. One carry on and the next larger size. She took the larger piece and all I needed was the carry-on. We traveled by plane, train and car throughout the country. Being able to attach the 2 pieces made the travel so easy. When attached, it was almost as if the luggage propelled itself! It made our travel so much more pleasant. The couple we traveled with was envious of the ease with which we navigated through the train stations and airports. Even going up steps was easy. Additionally, when checking into our flight over from Newark, the female attendant who checked us in said She had never seen such good looking luggage. Worth every penny I paid. Thanks!

Club Glove is the ONLY way to travel. This is the only luggage I have used since I was in college at NC State. Absolutely the best

For the last 18 years I've travelled extensively as a golf TV broadcaster. Prior to that I was a touring professional. I've logged over 2 million miles traveling the world with A LOT of gear. I've tried just about every brand of luggage and I'm telling you the latest Club Glove TRS Ballistic line is the best I have ever seen. It's stylish and extremely durable. Honestly, it's the last luggage you will ever need. Club Glove is rightfully known for its line of golf travel covers. (Another lifetime piece, and I've never had my clubs or golf bag damaged in Club Glove). The same design and construction quality goes in to the luggage line as the club cover products. In fact, I'd say the TRS Ballistic is a step up in quality from the club covers. And that doesn't seem possible. I realize these pieces are an investment. But they are well worth the money. You won't be disappointed. I'm certainly not. And neither is my wife!

My TRS Ballistic luggage has been, hands down, the easiest, most spacious, most efficient luggage I have ever used. The telescoping handle is long enough to provide a comfortable rolling angle. A tall order when you?

With 4 million miles travelled I have veritable PhD in luggage quality. Without question, The Club Glove luggage I've purchased is superior in all respects. I've owned multiple Tumi bags and they consistently wear out and their flaky warranty is as flimsy as a wet paper bag. But, my Club Glove gear (carry on and executive case) is still operating perfectly. Everything; the zippers, wheels, handles and extension all work like new - 8 years after purchasing them.
