Best Divot Tool

Great tool for fixing divots, keeping golf grips off the damp grass and a ball marker in the palm of your hand. Fits nicely in front pocket with no pointed ends to poke you. |
An undervalued tool

Most people don't think much about their divot repair tool; any one will do. That's why a lot of golfers have, for instance, holes in their right front pockets: from carrying sharp pointed metal divot tools. I confess: I love gadgets. But this is not just a nerdy gadget. Obviously, the switchblade function keeps the sharp part away from poking holes until you need it, as well as keeping it compact in your pocket. But that's not all. It comes with a handy ball marker magnetically attached (and I mean FIRMLY attached, so that you won't lose it, and anyone who's been frustrated trying to find a marker knows you can't have too many of these, especially when your playing partner has a caddy like Happy Gilmore's. Still not all. The end is curved and, when the tool is out, turns it into a handy club rest that sticks into the ground for those cool mornings when you take two clubs to the green and don't want the dew to get your grip and shaft wet. All in all, not really a gadget, but a useful and thoughtful golfers tool that keeps the pockets uncluttered and is truly functional. This and a few tees are all you need in your pocket. Well done! |
